Hi Chirstof, Hope all is well. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a fellow DIY amp builder. My upcoming project is a pair of monoblocks using the GM70 output tube. I was wondering if the 35TG could be used as a driver (yes, driver) for the GM70. Why the 35TG? Tungsten, DHT, Low Rp and medium mu. Also, the plate voltage could be the same (if not similar) to the GM70. Thus, I could use the same B+ for driver and output tubes without any dropping resistors. I want to use an interstage transformer and the 35TG might work. That said, do you foresee any issues driving the 35TG via a 2V input source? Any input would be appreciated.
